Sittin’ on Sitton

Sittin’ on Sitton. Nothing super special about a majority of the trail but the last quarter mile is a really tough climb. The recent rain made that section really sandy with a lot of crevices that formed from water run off. By the time we headed back it was buggy from the warmer temps but as long as we kept moving it wasn’t too bad. 3 hours up, 2 hours down. 9.8 miles round trip (normally 9.6 but we took a wrong turn)…and the best part aside from the views at the top was a visit to the trailhead candy store!
