The Slide

This is always a very challenging and yet rewarding experience. There is an area that I call the slide where it’s slick and there is some strategy to going up and down without slipping. And there are points in this hike where you are almost rock climbing so just be prepared. And have water as unless you are an avid hiker and in great shape this one could take several hours. I consider myself in decent shape and it takes my husband and I 5 hours with little to no breaks.
