Beautiful day for hiking our first Six-Pack hike! We took the Mt Wilson toll road from the Pinecrest gate in Altadena. The weather today was perfect- shorts and one long-sleeved layer on top of a T-shirt.
The trail was in fine condition- only a couple rockslide bits to scramble past, and the Cosmic Cafe at the top was open, so we had a quick bite before exploring the telescopes and finding the Mt Wilson sign (it’s on Echo Rock, near the 60” telescope).
Excited to have one hike in the books!
