I had never even heard of Sitton Peak before joining this challenge, and I feel I’ve missed out. The hike was beautiful- lots of wildflowers, bees, cool plants, even a mountain quail sighting.  Very different landscape from the San Gabriels which was very nice. The trail was great- lots of softish dirt, and a tiny amount of water. Today the view was impeded by fog while we were there, but it did not take away from the experience at all- it made for a nice cool day. Plus, fog is pretty magical anyway!
