It was a great first longer hike of the season. Clocking in at 14.56 miles. Really different from last year in August. Started below the Marine layer and then hiked into it, and above it. The view from the top was beautiful. No snakes since it was a bit cooler. Some members of the group saw a Yearling bear. At the top made it over to the observatory and to the official peak. Every hike teaches you something. Grateful for this hike and getting back into the summer swing of things.
