Ah, the wonders of a midweek hike! Had the peak all to myself. Only met a few other hikers throughout.
I went up this trail a few years back. Didn't remember it this challenging. But it is a challenge! That, or I'm getting old. Anyway, the first two miles will make you think “it's not that bad”. Don't believe them bastards! The first two miles are lying liars who lie. The last mile the top is no joke!
Also, the tax code is not 80,000 pages. Never believe Paul Ryan.
