The trail is perfect, well-kept. I missed my partner in crime today, as I will on most of the challenge. Hiking with Charlie makes everything better, but a solo day (for both of us) won’t kill anyone and I’m sure he enjoyed the day off. We had just gone 15 miles two days ago.
anyhoo, the trail is great, lots of shade, although I’m always a fan of starting early. I started at 7:40am and was in my car to leave at 11:00am
