Hike started out beautiful With water in the creek. Such beautiful colored rocks. Once heading up the peak it was definitely a challenge. The sun came out early so a lot of full exposure. Temps got up to about 73. A lot of the trail was overgrown so glad I had on long pants and long sleeves a lot of flowering bushes full of bees that you literally had to walk through so glad not to have gotten stung. Lots of loose dirt and rocks, must be very careful going up and down and yes, take your poles. Beautiful views up top and loved the couple of long sticks that were up there with shell decorations, and feathers
