Santiago Peak Hike

Lovely hike from Maple Springs / Harding Truck Trail trailhead. Day was beautiful with a soft breeze. Temps were moderate. Take a sports mask, because a lot of people drive all the way to the peak and the mask was handy whenever a car passed to avoid breathing all the dust. We had read people complaining about bugs, but it wasn’t too bad for us. Avoid in hot weather, it’s mostly no shade. Some wildflowers and poppies added to the beauty
