It was a beautiful day for hiking Mount Baldy. I started a little after 6:30 and the parking lot was already pretty full.
I hiked up the ski hut route and down the backbone.
The snow wasn’t an issue and is really only on the last stretch up to the summit. It was very easy to walk in and even though I brought micospikes, I didn’t put them on.

At the summit many people were having their breaks. I happen to meet someone on the way up who suggested we go to West Baldy.  I had never gone before so I followed and added an extra mile to check it out. There was a little bit of snow to cross, but again it was not an issue.

On the way down the backbone there was no snow at all. It was just heavy traffic people were mindful of each other during passing, especially on the steeper sections.

I am guessing the snow won’t be around too much longer!
