Considering the only other time I hiked Volcan it was foggy, cloudy, cold and snowy (even made snowballs at the top), I loved getting to enjoy the view from the top on this clear and sunny day! The trail conditions were great, some bugs, and a very friendly ranger passed us multiple times on the trail.
