6/16/2024:

I had been in a long hiking hiatus.  On a beautiful Father's Day  I decided to start up my hiking again.  I felt I wasn't quite in shape.  So, I picked the easiest peak hike ofvtge Six Pack of Peaks which was Sitton Peak.  Since it was Father's Day, there weren't any hikers hiking up Sitton Peak.  However, I saw two dads and wished them a happy Father's Day.

The trail conditions at Bear Canyon trails were excellent.  But the bugs were bad.  There were many of them.  Also, there were alot of cobwebs throughout the trails.  Despite these annoyances, the beautiful blooming wildflowers were the main attractions hiking up Sitton Peak and I withdrawn my complaints of the annoyances.

I thought my long hiking hiatus would set me back.  However, it was the contrary.  I did quite well.

  •      Woohoo!  Sitton Peak is in the Books for my 2024 SoCal Hikers' Six Pack of Peaks Challenge.
