Trail conditions were good. There was one fallen tree across the path that had to be climbed over, but it wasn't difficult. It was a smaller tree. The gnats were pretty annoying if you stopped in the shade for too long, but not too bad if those don't bother you much.
The trail was pretty warm today especially with a heat advisory starting a couple hours into the hike but the shade was nice and the wind on top was great.
Fantastic views once you reach the top, you can see Devil's Punchbowl, Antelope Valley, and Mt. Baldy.
Felt rough to me but I don't do any cardio exercise and I carried a backpack with 5 liters of water, baby changing stuff, and snacks for my husband and I so going up was pretty stop and go for me for a bit.
