The trail was overgrown at some parts. Bugs were annoying, specially where the trail had water. The water made the steep parts of the trail even more slippery. However, once I reached the top the views were very rewarding. Probably February was not the best month to hike to Sitton Peak because of the muddy terrain. Nonetheless, I loved this hike.

Is very steep just before the summit, but this does offer an excellent workout and a great opportunity to train and remain focus when going back down. I did fall a few times but no harm, just ended up seating on the mud!
