While temperatures down the mountain were in the double digits, we hiked and very comfortable temperatures within light wind. We saw only a handful of other hikers on the trail, and pretty much had the summit to ourselves. There is only one section of the trail with any remaining snow as you're heading down Devil's Backbone. We'll probably be all melted in the next week. All Trails says this loop is only 7.1 miles, but it is actually 10.5 miles.
