Started the hike with two others and met two more of our group at high camp. Conditions were perfect considering the heat all week leading up to the hike. Really enjoyed my first time on this trail and camping at the peak was another first for me. There was lots of bugs but I didn’t find them too annoying. After filling up on water at high camp the extra weight made the last push to the summit very slow and steady…… but we persevered and got there in the end. Well worth pushing for! Great trail, great weather, great company.
