A long and winding road to the top!

I parked in a nearly full lot (across the highway)  at 9:15 am and started on a cool, shaded trail which led to a more exposed path up the mountain. Occasional trees provided welcomed shade along the climb. The top offered amazing views, but think clearer navigational signs would help. I mistook south peak for north peak initially. Other hikers had indicated the correct way with rock markers (see photos)—keep an eye out for a section about one and a half miles before the true peak, where you should turn right. Another sign about private property was also confusing, but reaching the north peak and enjoying the view made it worthwhile. The descent was straightforward, and I returned to my car by 1:45 pm. Despite signage issues (will be using all trails or strava apps going forward), it was a rewarding hike.
