I really liked this trail! It was beautiful, smelled nice, and had a great summit. When we were there we got hail, so I would take some precautions and bring a lightweight poncho. For hazards, we encountered a rattlesnake on the trail and heard reports of a baby rattlesnake a few feet off trail. The summit has several survey markers. It is a bit of a scramble towards the end, but it’s still pretty worth it.
