Beautiful Mt. Bachelor

I love this mountain, but every time I’ve climbed it I’ve started in a different place. What I’m saying is that I have a difficult time finding a consistent way from the road to the intended trail, and from the trail, back to the road. The hiking directions on the Six Pack of Peaks app are different from the All Trails app, so I feel like I sort of combine the two and eventually, they become the same trail. The trail was in good condition. There was still snow on the mountain in places, but none that had to be crossed.  The weather started out beautifully with mostly clear skies, but the wind picked up when I got about 3/4 of the way to the top and blew in a bunch of wildfire smoke. It was really whipping up at the top! I almost had to get out my extra layers, but decided against it. Even though I hiked this by myself, there were enough people out there doing the same, that I never felt completely alone.  All in all, a very good day!
