Peak 9 of 12: Mount San Jacinto

Beautiful weather today at San Jacinto! T-shirt and shorts all the way. Got to the trailhead a little after 6. The hike is steady uphill a lot of the way with some mild bouldering near the summit. There were a couple places to filter that we took advantage of and we also checked out the emergency hut near the top. The views at the summit are out of this world – incredible 360 panoramas. Saw a few familiar faces along the way, but not overly crowded. No bug issues. The elevation hit a little bit toward the top and we had to take a fair amount of breaks on the way down, but we made it!
