Took the Tram and filled out the permit application at the Ranger Station. There were a lot of people on the tram, both hikers, rock climbers, and those who simply wanted to ride the tram. Despite the number of hikers out on the trail for the most part I had the trail to myself. And due to my late start by the time I got to the summit it wasn't as crowded as it normally was in my past ascents. Took breaks at Wellman's Divide and the hut before scrambling to the true summit. Unlike my last visit, the summit had a proper wooden sign fastened to a wooden post. Stayed at the summit for a while before heading back to the Tram.
