Earn Your Shortcake

First peak of the challenge for me and my group! The trail was great. Very smooth climb making the journey nice and easy as a first peak. There was some snow and in some parts of the trail it was a bit icey. The last .5mi is more of the scrambling required to get to the peak and this section is pretty steep. The weather was beautiful. In the 40s and sunny. Around noon the clouds rolled in and it got a bit chillier without the sun. Total trip took 4 hours but we hung out on top for an hour taking in the view. We all signed the book at the top as well!
