Feeling’ Freel

It was well worth getting up early and leaving north Reno at 5:20 am so we could enjoy cool temps most of the way up to the peak. As noted before, the road to the trailhead is washed out and requires careful driving preferably with a high clearance vehicle.

The slope is fairly gentle to moderate until the turn off to Freel peak. That mile up is steep! But the  360 views from the top make it all worth it! So happy to have done this with my friends.
