San Gorgonio was definitely an experience. This hike was a beast. We started our ascend at 6:03 am and summited at 12:54 pm. The first couple of miles is a steep incline but came across a beautiful waterfall on the way up. Bugs are annoying definitely recommend a bug  net to keep them away from your face. Once we summited we stayed for about an hour and enjoyed the beautiful views and saw  big bear lake at a distance. Within 10 mins of starting our descend, the black clouds that we saw near by while we ate lunch, came with vengeance. We had pebble size hail fall on us and thunder. I was terrified. Scared that we were exposed to everything. All I could think was to get down to find some sort of shelter. Luckily, the lower we got down the mountain the clouds began to subside. But we did get rain on as well. Overall this hike was a blast. Scary but fun.
