When your buddy has a conference in Salt Lake City, you have to send as many peaks in the Wasatch as possible in 3 days. Figured we couldn’t go wrong with the Utah 6 pack of peaks challenge after Mike had completed the Arizona challenge.
Mike and I decided to start the challenge with a sunrise on Lookout Peak. Started at the trailhead around 4:25am to a chilly morning with clear skies and beautiful stars above. The trail was fairly easy to navigate but slightly overgrown in sections. The sunrise from the summit was worth the sacrificed sleep. With breakfast on our minds we quickly headed back to the car and drove back into Salt Lake City where we would gear up for our next two hikes that day.
