Started the hike around noon after eating at Over The Counter dinner in Salt Lake City. With full stomachs and somewhat fresh legs, we started the slog up this short but brutal hike. The trail was slightly overgrown but easy to navigate. Alexander Basin was spectacular with the limestone cliffs that lined Gobblers Knob. The views overlooking Mount Olympus Wilderness were breathtaking and vast. We descended the brutal knee grinding trail with one more hike on our mind. The car was a welcome sight at 4pm where we ate our sandwiches and prepared for our final hike of the day.
