Thomas, Richard and Harold Mountain

Welp, hate for ol’ Tom, Dick and Harry to be peak #6, but with smoke/fires down near Bend, it is what it is! Didn’t want to drive down from Portland again for another day hike anyway.  Still fun though,  just about the best view of Mt. Hood around. We were lucky with clear sunny weather too. I’ve done this trail quite a few time so this time was a piece of cake. Got to the trailhead about 8am and saw a few people going up/ at the top. On the way down however, must have seen close to a hundred people. Not the hike if you’re looking for solitude, but you probably knew that. Anyway, stoked to get my sixth peak in the books! I was using this challenge as a way to motivate myself to get out more this summer and get back into hiking- it worked! Got out to some places I normally wouldn’t have gone and hiked a few mountains I’d never climbed before. My legs can rest now, until next summer.
