This is my second time hiking Mt. San Jacinto and it's exactly as I remembered it. The beginning is a bit strenuous but it levels off a bit as you hike. The trail for most of the hike was very green with lots of trees. No bugs, which was awesome. As I got towards Little Round Valley the hiking area became more spacious. There are multiple campsites where people could stay if they bring their tents. Closer to the summit I ran into the emergency hut and it was as I remembered with beds for you to sleep in and emergency supplies that people leave.

Once I got to the summit, I saw a really incredible view all around me. The sky was clear and you could see an endless amount of trees for miles on end. Mountains on one side and desert on the other. There were lots of people on the summit

I really enjoyed this hike when I first did it 5 years ago and enjoyed doing it again this year. If I had to do it again, I think I would try it from the tram route just to try the hike from a different perspective. Tough, but worth the views. Give it a shot! You won't be disappointed.
