This was a really enjoyable hike and the weather was amazing. Sunny, but not too hot. Fortunately many parts of the hike were shaded so I wasn’t always exposed to the sun. I hiked to Sawmill Mountain, but kept going to complete the 3-2-1 challenge (hiking Mt. Pinos and Grouse Peak as well). The trail was really green with beautiful views of the desert on one side and mountains on the other. I did notice throughout the hike the elevation kept going up and down, but it wasn’t as drastic as some of the other peaks.
