So, this was my last peak of the challenge. It was supposed to be San Gorgonio, but the fires ruined those plans. I have to be honest; I am a little disappointed to end the challenge this way… It was hot, smelled like fire in the air, and the views were just “okay” at the end. I know I technically completed the challenge, but I won't truly feel like I'm done until I summit San Gorgonio. Strawberry Peak was easy in the beginning, but then hard at the end. You have to do some serious climbing to get to the top. The last mile or so is challenging. Be prepared to climb over rocks and tackle some serious incline. Overall, I'm happy I completed the challenge, but I still have some unfinished business. San Gorgonio – I'm coming for you!
