I did my first solo hike to Mt Tam. Started at Stinson Beach and took the Matt Davis Loop and came back via Steep Ravine. I logged 17 miles with 3800ft elevation gain.
The trail was not crowded as it was a Monday, I hardly saw other people. The view from the fire lookout station was amazing. I could see Mt Diablo and the gorgeous Bay Area.
