I have hiked to Mount Woodson (Potato Chip Rock) several times, but today I took the Fry-Koegel Trail for the first time. The trail was shaded by numerous tree canopies, which provided some relief from the sun but also obstructed the views. While I wouldn’t describe it as particularly scenic as I had hoped, the trail itself was in good condition. The weather was pleasant and sunny with a cool breeze.
