Cucamonga Peak via Ice House TH

The hike was nice. “Ice House” is more than a moniker for this location! Holy cow, it was freaking cold!!!

We got to the trail head at 6:45 am and the lot was completely packed.
The trail was very busy all day  someone had posted it was like being the 5 fwy and that is definitely how it felt at times.

The trail skirts some sketchy spots with loose rocks and thin spots. Rough if you have knee issues.

The view on the way up was fantastic. When we were about 1/4 miles from the top the winds kicked up sand blew all the clouds we were above to cover the peak, dropping the temperature to ~21 degrees with wind chill.
