This was a good easy way to start off the 6 pack challenge. I caught the sunrise as I started out on this day hike.  The trail is relatively new and so it’s well taken care of with a couple of nice bridges over the creeks.  I ran into a family of deer that didn’t seem too spooked by my presence.  The peak has incredible views of the highest mountains in the Bay Area ( Tamalpais, Diablo, and Sizer).  There’s great history and tradition to learn about this area along the way.
