Cucamonga Peak – Cold and Windy

Started at just before 7am – I was a little surprised at the cold wind at the trailhead. I figured that I would lighten up the layers as the sun cam out – but the wind picked up and stayed cold all the way to the summit. I took off my jacket once I got back down the Icehouse Saddle.

I like hiking when it is a little cooler so to me this was perfect hiking weather.!
