After a gorgeous sunrise at the trailhead we started up the mountain through thick groves of manzanita and climbed the enormous rocks at the summit to take in the 360° view. The weather was perfectly splendid, there were no bugs, and there were only 10 or so other people on the trail, which made for a perfect day!
