High Point – what a view!

Excellent parking lot and very well marked trail.  First  2 miles were narrow standard mountain trail, similar to El Cajon mountain or other east county trails, then once you hit the fire roads it’s smooth sailing to the top with a steady but manageable incline.  Grateful for the 2 sets of brush clearance crews doing significant work in the thick areas.  Up in under 3 hours and back down in about 2.75.  Encountered a few vehicles and a group of mountain bikes on the way back down.  all in all, a great local trail and one I look forward to repeating.
