Bagging Black Mountain

Awesome hike!! So much shade and the trails are in excellent condition. There are some steep sections that are challenging toward the beginning and end, but you get a nice break in the middle. We thought some of the views on the way up were better than at the summit. Beautiful nonetheless and it is really cool how this whole area is a bunch of different interconnected open spaces. We used an alternate entrance that I won’t dox. Check out my route if you’re curious, easy parking.
