Last peak in the SoCal challenge for year 2024 and the second time on this trail!!

Started from the head trail at 7 am and finished at 10:30 am. Not many people going up. We bumped into a solo hiker, Jose. He was super nice and took pictures of us on the top. He even shared a pack of sweet mangos then headed back to meet his two friends who were behind. We saw him again as he decided to go back to the peak again!! What a trooper.

When we were descending there was quite a large group of women hiking up. To my surprise, I bumped into Deviya with whom I did Mt Baden Powell back in August. It's always fun to see on the trail some familiar faces.

THis year was full of fun hikes and this one was definitely one of the nicest ones. So cool to conquer it with my buddy Ann! Forever grateful for our long drives, convos, laughter and meals afterwards. Strawberry Peak was a “cherry on the top” or should I say “Strawberry” LOL!!
