Last of the pack!

The hike was long and challenging, with a steep section that seemed to stretch on endlessly. Thankfully, much of the trail was shaded, which made the climb more manageable. The weather was perfect—cool with a refreshing breeze. We started around 8 a.m., and thanks to steady pacing, we finished an hour ahead of the estimated AllTrails time. The previous hike we did turned out to be excellent training for this one. Overall, it was tough but rewarding, and the shaded sections were a much-appreciated relief on the uphill stretches.
