Another beautiful day for hiking! It was cold up there (40s) but just wear layers. You’ll warm up as you hike. This was a pretty easy to navigate trail. You’ll go 2 miles to Pinos. Stop there for pictures. The view is excellent. Then, you’ll go another 2 miles to Sawmill, but this two miles is a lot of switchbacks going down and then you’ll summit up to Sawmill. The views from Sawmill are also spectacular. Just remember that there’s a climbing segment on the return (of course, you have to work for that peak). But overall, a lovely day of hiking. And no snow!
