Started hike at 2:30pm to welcome the sunset at 5pm and stayed to watch the start of the lunar eclipse but the temps dropped significantly so we left. We were a large party of 25 which was unexpected, I was only expecting 9! Who knew! Although it was nice and safety in numbers we 13 went down earlier as the sun was going down. The rest of us headed down after 6:30. Trail was clear and muddy in some parts but all around perfect conditions.
