After lighting 1000 candles on our patio last night to welcome 2025 with wishes for peace, safety, health and well-being for all, we launched the year with our inaugural 6-Peak Challenge hike.  We took our dog, Pema, and cruised up the main trail and then split up with Tommie running down the main trail and VC w/dog hiking down the Five Oaks Trail.  We met Chris without realizing he was doing the Challenge too and just discovered it when we looked at the logs from today.
