This trail takes you through different foliage of manzanita trees, pine trees and small streams.  The area has recovered nicely from the fire, I believe of five years ago.  Once at the top you get amazing views but you have opportunities to see views at different points on the trail.  It can be windy at the top but today winds were not bad.
