Got to the trailhead at around 6..30 am. Parking was almost full, grabbed one of the last remaining spots. Started the hike at around 6.45 am
Two switchback sections on the trail that are quite brutal, the first one to get to the midpoint of the hike, Icehouse Saddle. This is a good place to take a break, enjoy some views and fuel up. Then a flat (little downhill) to the Cucamonga Saddle. Then the 2nd set of switchbacks to the Cucamonga peak. Trail was mostly easy to follow if you have any apps or navigation methods. There are some off trails that might be confusing at certain points, but generally follow the people/tracks and you should be fine.
Summited at around 10.20 am. Not a lot of crowd at the peak.
Weather was mostly good for the hike. Definitely needed layers for the peak, where it was quite windy and cold.
Total distance from trailhead and back : 11.95 miles.
Total moving time : 5h 24m
Total time : 6h 56m
Total Ascent : 4149 ft
