Trail was in great shape, free of snow. Continuous 8000 ft hike for 10 miles. Was a chilly start but layers were fine. Escaped the winds as we only encountered a bit of wind at the summit of Sawmill. Sun shining and we could see all the way to the snow capped Sierras. Was not a strenuous hike, but does have some ups and downs (about 2100 ft elevation gain) when doing all three peaks (Pinos, Sawmill, Grouse). Views from Pinos and Sawmill are good but Grouse does not offer a view, but still worth doing.
