Mission Peak #20: The Fogfather

Big 2-0 today! I hit the trail early with hopes of celebration views—but Mission Peak had other plans. Overcast from the start, and by the time I climbed into the fog layer, visibility dropped to “is-that-the-trail-or-a-cloud?”

Made it to the summit, but it was full-on ghost mode—windy, socked in, and couldn’t even see the iconic summit pole from the rocks. It was like reaching the final boss only to find they called in sick.

Here’s to 20 summits—through sunshine, fog, and everything in between. Mission #21, you better bring the drama (and the views).
