Sawmill is my #5 this Year

I decided on the spur of the moment to do Sawmill today because I wanted to get peak number 5 taken care of – 1 more to go! I got the to trail head and noon and started off.  I grabbed Mt. Pinos on the way up and after I made it to Sawmill I considered going to Grouse to complete the 3-2-1 Challenge. I decided against it, Grouse is cool but to me the summit is just a creepy pie of sticks with no real views.  Besides I started late in the day and was hoping turning back after Sawmill would mean I could beat the traffic home. I was wrong.
