Burner on Mount Diablo

Went with Leslie and a group of friends to summit Mount Diablo from the Mitchell Canyon staging area. We parked about a mile from the park entrance which added 2 miles to the hike. It’s a really beautiful area and it was fun to summit Twin Peaks and Eagle Peak. At twin peaks I climbed down to check out a neat little cave. The rest of our group turned around at Prospector’s Gap and Leslie and I continued to the summit where we had some well deserved cokes and then booked it down the mountain to get back home. It was a little warm and pretty steep but overall a fun day! We also saw a snake a buck on the way down!
