Hiked with a group

Buckman Springs Rd and then Five miles on Corral Canyon, which is a bumpy dirt road.  You’ll pass by a Navy Seals training center.

There’s a very small parking lot on your left; holds about 10 cars, and we parked a bit further up the road with room for about 5 cars.

No facilities, and no need for any passes.

Make sure to follow a map as there is one left turn (after a flat meeting spot in less than a mile).  Manzanita lined much of the trail; it was about shoulder height, the tallest manzanita I’ve seen!  It was just a gorgeous day and you could see our destination in the distance.

Our group stopped for a while at the rocks at the end to enjoy the vast views.

Once you are back to within a mile of the trailhead, at the flat spot, you can also hike to Los Pinos Mtn.  No idea what the distance was, but a few hikers in our group headed that way.
